silêncio

In Silêncio (2024), Zé Nigro follows up on his debut album, Apocalip-Se, revisiting and expanding on previous themes. Released on vinyl and digital formats by Nublu Records (NY), the album features collaborations with Arthur Verocai, Russo Passapusso, Souto MC, Fernanda Broggi, and Saulo Duarte. It explores new arrangements for tracks from his earlier work, such as “Gorjeios” and “Andarilha das Galáxias,” alongside new compositions like “Trincheira” and a rendition of Bob Marley’s “Reaction.”

apocalip se

Released in 2021, Apocalip-Se was conceived during the social isolation of the pandemic and reflects on existence through the lens of a solitary "self." The album features collaborations with Céu, Saulo Duarte, Anais Sylla, and Fernando Catatau, as well as compositions co-written with Ava Rocha and Thalma de Freitas. The title is a play on words, referencing global chaos: “Apocalip-se, while there’s still time.”
